The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing, communications, and branding initiatives that promote the company's powerline construction services. This role is responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns, preparing proposals and presentations, managing digital content, organizing events, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working collaboratively with operations, estimating, safety, and leadership teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that support business development objectives.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials including brochures, project profiles, capability statements, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Create engaging content for the company website, social media platforms, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • Capture and organize project photos, videos, and success stories to showcase company capabilities.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external communications.

Proposal & Business Development Support

  • Assist with the preparation, formatting, and submission of proposals, qualifications, and bid packages.
  • Maintain a library of company resumes, project profiles, safety statistics, certifications, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to gather information for client submissions.
  • Track proposal deadlines and maintain proposal documentation.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage company social media accounts by creating and scheduling relevant content.
  • Monitor website content and coordinate updates with website administrators or external vendors.
  • Track marketing performance metrics and prepare monthly reports on website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support search engine optimization (SEO) and digital advertising initiatives.

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate company participation in industry conferences, trade shows, career fairs, and community events.
  • Organize promotional materials, displays, and logistics for events.
  • Assist with employee recognition programs and company events.

Corporate Communications

  • Support internal communications including company announcements, newsletters, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing press releases, award submissions, and project announcements.
  • Coordinate photography and media opportunities for major company milestones.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain marketing budgets and track expenses.
  • Manage inventory of promotional products and branded merchandise.
  • Coordinate with external vendors including printers, graphic designers, photographers, and advertising agencies.
  • Maintain marketing files, contact databases, and customer relationship management (CRM) information.

Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of marketing or communications experience.
  • Experience in construction, utilities, engineering, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is considered an asset.
