Role Overview (Part Time/Full Time. Rotating shifts including weekends)

We are seeking a highly client-focused and sales-driven Offline Store Associate / Relationship Manager to join our retail store team.

The primary focus of this role is to engage customers, promote our trading platform and products, acquire new clients, and achieve sales KPIs related to account openings and account funding. The role is also responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, supporting their product-use and account-funding needs, and delivering a high-quality in-store client experience.

The ideal candidate is confident working directly with clients, proactive in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, and knowledgeable about financial markets and investment products. Experience with equity and options trading, as well as CIRO registration as a Registered Representative, would be highly valued.

Location: Markville Mall, Markham, ON or 95 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage walk-in customers, understand their needs, and introduce the company's trading platform, products, and services.

• Achieve assigned sales and client-acquisition KPIs, including new account openings and account funding.

• Proactively acquire new clients through walk-in traffic, referrals, events, partnerships, community outreach, and other business-development activities.

• Guide new clients through account opening, platform setup, app demonstrations, and product navigation.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, follow up on their account-funding and product-use needs, and support client satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

• Provide clear and accurate information about platform features, investment products, and trading tools.

• Where permitted by the employee's registration category, firm approval, and applicable regulatory requirements, provide investment recommendations to clients.

• Respond to client inquiries and escalate complex account, product, technical, or compliance-related matters to the appropriate internal teams.

• Support the planning and execution of in-store events, workshops, promotional campaigns, and community-engagement initiatives.

• Assist with marketing and content activities, including photo and video shoots, promotional-material development, marketing copywriting, and content creation.

• Maintain accurate client records and complete all required documentation in accordance with CIRO requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with store colleagues and cross-functional teams to improve sales processes, service workflows, and the overall client experience.

Requirements

2–3 years of client-facing experience in financial services, brokerage, wealth management, retail banking, investment sales, or a related field.

• Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills, with the ability to communicate confidently, understand client needs, build trust, and develop long-term relationships.

• A proactive sales mindset, with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, follow up with prospective clients, and achieve sales KPIs.

• Strong financial background and solid knowledge of financial markets, brokerage services, and investment products.

• Ability to explain financial products, platform features, and trading concepts clearly, accurately, and in a client-friendly manner.

• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to serve clients professionally in all three languages.

• Strong customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented and comfortable handling client documentation, compliance procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency with digital platforms, trading applications, CRM systems, and other business tools.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
