Benefits:
We are a firm that does things a little differently. This is your opportunity to join a high-calibre, experienced group of professionals who are reimagining the future of bridge engineering — from rehabilitation and evaluation to construction and delivery.
At Entuitive, we integrate innovation, constructability, and sustainability into every project. We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Bridge Engineer to contribute and lead projects focused on the rehabilitation, strengthening, and evaluation of existing bridges, as well as the design and implementation of temporary works for new bridge construction and heavy civil infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys balancing technical design with hands-on field collaboration, and who wants to take on more project responsibility within a supportive, mentorship-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead structural analysis, design, and evaluation of existing bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
- Conduct and oversee bridge inspections, prepare condition assessment reports, and develop rehabilitation or strengthening strategies.
- Design temporary works including falsework, formwork, jacking, launching, demolition, and access systems.
- Work closely with contractors and owners to develop practical, constructible solutions that optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare technical reports, design briefs, drawings, and specifications for rehabilitation and construction engineering projects.
- Review shop drawings, field modifications, and construction procedures for compliance with design intent.
- Manage or support multiple projects through all phases of delivery—from proposal and design through construction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in client meetings, presentations, and progress reviews.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools, design standards, and innovative methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 6+ years (Intermediate) or 8+ years (Senior) of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation, and/or construction engineering.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Strong working knowledge of CHBDC (CAN/CSA-S6), MTO Structural Manual, AREMA, and related standards.
- Experience in both permanent and temporary works design for bridges and transportation structures.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., CSiBridge, SAP2000, Midas Civil) and AutoCAD.
- Effective communicator with proven ability to collaborate across teams and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Field or construction site experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles and embodied carbon assessment is considered an asset.
Benefits
Why Entuitive?
- Flexible working hours and a 37.5-hour work week.
- Hybrid work model: minimum 3 days per week in-office for collaboration and mentoring.

- RRSP matching up to 5% and participation in our discretionary profit-sharing plan.
- Generous parental leave and reimbursement of annual professional membership dues.
