Phasor Engineering is a dynamic North America based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing/commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated accounting student to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be based out of our Calgary, AB, office.

Responsibilities:

· Job set up and billing

· Assist with monthly project billing

· Assist in job openings per the PO specifications

· Accounts payable

· Vendor setup according to corporate guidelines

· Monitoring mailboxes for invoices

· Ensure appropriate approvals for invoices

· Matching PO to invoices and shipping documents

· Invoice posting and filing

· Accounts payable accruals

· Reconciliation of company credit cards

· Reconciliation of expense reports

· Monthly GST filing and payment

· Payroll

· Timesheet entry

· Equipment time entry

· Time entry to Open Air

· General Ledger

· Journal entries entry

· Scanning and uploading journal entries

· Bank reconciliations

Qualifications:

· University or college courses in accounting

· 1 or more years related industry and project accounting experience in North America.

Requirements:

· Experience with JDE or Eclipse is considered an asset

· Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency

· Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Proactive and demonstrate initiative in identifying and taking on projects and duties.

· Pride in work and attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Preference will be given to candidates who can stay for eight months or longer.
