We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Construction Labourers to support a variety of projects across our organization, including Shallow Utility, Transmission & Distribution, and Horizontal Directional Drilling work.

Reporting to the Foreman, Construction Labourers perform a wide range of tasks to keep projects moving efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and commitment to safety in every aspect of the job.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform manual and physically demanding tasks as directed
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order, safely stored and transported
• Safely operate hand and power tools (e.g., skill saws, grinders, snow blowers)
• Learn to read and interpret construction drawings for assigned tasks
• Complete work assignments within set timelines
• Follow all company and industry safety standards, reporting hazards promptly
• Participate in daily tailboard meetings and hazard assessments
• Accurately complete daily time sheets, inspections, and other required paperwork
• Support crew leads and supervisors with other duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous construction experience (electrical utility or civil work experience preferred)
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Ability to perform physically demanding duties and safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Demonstrated experience with the safe operation of hand and power tools
• Solid understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
