We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer with deep backend expertise to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services that power our web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express, and NestJS.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs that integrate with various data sources and third-party services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) backend code.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver quality features quickly.
• Optimize backend application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage database interactions with NoSQL, PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Firebase Authentication and other security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous integration to ensure high software quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience focusing on backend development with Node.js.
• Strong experience building APIs and backend services using Express and NestJS.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases like Firebase Firestore or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Firebase services, including Authentication and Firestore.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication protocols, and best practices.
• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure and deployment of backend services.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate product requirements into technical solutions.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio demonstrating backend expertise.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies like React or React Native to facilitate collaboration with frontend teams.
