We're hiring an Associate Editor to support our growing content team. This role is important to maintaining quality and consistency across our published work, helping ensure that everything we publish is clear, accurate, well-structured, and genuinely useful to readers.
The role involves a mix of editing and writing. You'll spend time reviewing drafts from other writers (including articles, newsletters, video scripts, etc.), improving structure, flow, and clarity, and ensuring that each piece meets our editorial standards.
You'll also contribute original content and collaborate with subject matter experts to turn technical ideas into accessible writing.
As part of the content team, you'll also weigh in on content planning, help shape best practices, and support the ongoing development of our content offerings.
This role is a good fit for someone who's confident in both editing and writing, comfortable offering feedback, and interested in technology and AI. It's hands-on, collaborative, and focused on producing content that's genuinely helpful and well-executed.
Responsibilities- Edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, structure, and logical flow
- Write original content, including blog posts, long-form content, and other forms
- Review and provide feedback on drafts from other writers across the team
- Help shape editorial standards and best practices, and coach others toward them
- Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and structure across content types
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to turn technical ideas into readable content
- Participate in content planning, brainstorms, and distribution discussions
- Learn and apply SEO best practices to optimize content for performance
- Support content audits, gap analyses, and improvements to existing assets
- Conduct SEO research and optimize existing content to improve search rankings
- Support content strategy by identifying new opportunities and refreshing older pieces
- Contribute to top-of-funnel campaigns and resource content
- Help build reporting processes to measure the performance of published content
- Assist with research, video script development, and other cross-functional content projects
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align content with business goals
Requirements
- An excellent editor with a strong grasp of grammar, logic, and narrative clarity
- A confident writer who can explain technical ideas in a simple, engaging way
- Able to assess the structure and purpose of a piece, not just fix typos
- Thoughtful with feedback — you know how to help others improve their work
- Interested in technology, AI, and the future of automation
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at once
- Curious and always looking to improve — both your own work and the team's output
- Familiar with (or excited to learn) how to write content that performs: SEO, CTAs, and value delivery
