The Cobequid Health Centre Foundation supports the essential work of the Cobequid Community Health Centre-a busy and vital healthcare facilities serving the communities of Bedford, Sackville, Fall River and surrounding areas. Through the generosity of donors, we help fund life-saving equipment, support programs, and services that directly enhance patient care for our communities.
About the Role
The Fund Development Coordinator plays a key role in cultivating donor relationships and advancing fundraising initiatives. You'll work closely with community members, business leaders, and healthcare professionals to align donor passions with health priorities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with new and existing donors
- Making in-person donor visits and stewardship calls
- Supporting fundraising campaigns, events, and special initiatives
- Engaging with corporate sponsors and community partners
- Collaborating across teams to match donor interests with funding needs
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is excited to grow within a mission-driven organization. This position is small team environment and on-site only at the Cobequid Community Health Centre in Lower Sackville, NS. The expected start date is immediate, and occasional evenings (for meetings and networking) and limited weekends (for events) are required.

Qualifications
- NEW GRAD: In accordance with our funding agreement, you must have completed a degree or diploma within one year prior to your start date of September 8th, 2025.
- Post-secondary education (diploma, certificate, or degree) in fundraising, sales, communications, business, commerce or a related field.
- Experience in donor relations, sales, customer service, or community engagement is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; fundraising software experience an asset (training provided)
- Comfortable engaging with donors, volunteers, and the public in a professional team setting.
- Experience working or volunteering in a nonprofit or community-based setting is considered an asset.
