Engineer/Architect

Position - Engineer / Architect 2026

Capital Management Engineering Limited (CMEL) is currently seeking an Engineer or Architect to join our dynamic Halifax team. The successful candidate will have some experience in completing property condition assessments and have a strong background in building science. Experience in Capital Planning is beneficial. The position will involve working with existing team members, conducting building assessments, completing life cycle analysis, developing asset management strategies and completing capital plans. The successful candidate will possess;

· Strong knowledge of building systems

· Experience in Property Condition Assessments or equivalent field experience

· The ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent report writing skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong project management skills

· Experience in Capital Planning preferred

· Understanding of life cycle analysis

· PMP certification is beneficial but not required

· A valid driver's licence

· A good command of the English language, both written and spoken (French is an asset)

· Registered or eligible for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia or equivalent provincial professional association
