Heavy Duty Mechanic

$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS ***

The Licensed Tractor/Trailer Technician will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Mechanics, and the other Tractor Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

Qualifications:

• A Licensed Tractor Technician - Journeyperson or Red Seal Mechanic
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position
• Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
• Experience using computers to enter work orders
• May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less
