Location: Berwick
Department: Nursing
Reports to: Nurse Manager

Shifts: Varied (8s and 12s) | Every 2nd weekend | Based on operational need


Rates:
• CCANOC: $19.34 - $20.22/hr
• CCA: $22.23 - $24.10/hr

What You'll Do

As a Continuing Care Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our mission - providing personalized, respectful, and dignified care that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each resident.


Your days will include:

  • Helping residents with daily living activities while fostering dignity and independence
  • Offering comfort, companionship, and encouragement
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health or routines
  • Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and home-like environment
  • Working closely with the care team, families, and other departments
  • Documenting care and helping update care plans
  • Mentoring new staff and CCA students when needed

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of a provincially recognized Continuing Care Assistant course (or equivalent)
  • A kind heart and a genuine interest in helping others
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and non-verbal
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Physically able to meet the demands of the role
  • Willingness to work all shifts as needed (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
