About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will play a key role in driving sales growth in your territory. You will be responsible for building lasting business relationships with retailers, maximizing product distribution, and ensuring consistent in-store presence.

Conditions:

Territory to cover: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Work arrangement: Field-based (80%), remote work (20%)

Responsibilities

Develop Sales and Product Visibility

Increase sales volume with existing customers.

Identify and develop new business opportunities.

Regularly visit retailers in your territory to maintain strong relationships.

Analyze results and present business reviews to strategic accounts.

Negotiate micro-marketing initiatives to optimize in-store merchandising.

Collaborate closely with distributor sales teams to drive sales.

Monitor Programs and Commercial Activities

Evaluate the performance and profitability of promotional programs.

Conduct competitive analysis on products, promotions, and market trends.

Produce reports related to visits, expenses, and field activities.

Follow up on coupons, loyalty programs, and other marketing initiatives.

Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience

Advise retailers on the features and nutritional benefits of our products.

Present new products and promotions to spark customer interest.

Maintain effective communication with retailers, distributors, and internal teams.

Proudly represent the company's values and image to our partners.

Promote the Brand

Organize and lead training sessions, seminars, demonstrations, and in-store events.

Participate in trade shows and industry events to increase product visibility.

Job Requirements

Vocational diploma in sales, retail, food product marketing, marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.

Experience in B2B sales (required).

Experience in the food industry or consumer products (an asset).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of sales and merchandising techniques.

Job Specifics

Position involves approximately 80% travel within the territory and 20?ministrative work.

Frequent travel requiring occasional overnight stays.

Occasional participation in evening or weekend events.

Valid driver's license required.
