Job Summary
As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in strengthening the Alzheimer Soci-ety of New Brunswick's brand presence, awareness initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and community engage-ment efforts throughout the province. Reporting to the Manager of Brand and Philanthropy, you will support the development and execution of strategic marketing and communications activities across multiple platforms.
Working collaboratively with all departments, you will create compelling bilingual content, manage digital com-munications channels, support media relations and marketing campaigns, and help share the impact of ASNB's work with donors, volunteers, care partners, healthcare professionals, and the broader community.

They are an exceptional writer and communicator in both English and French and have experience creating engaging content for a variety of digital and print platforms.

They are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, analyzing marketing performance metrics, working collaboratively across departments, and representing the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick in a pro-fessional and positive manner.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal and external marketing and com-munications activities aligned with ASNB's strategic priorities.
- Contribute to annual communications and marketing plans that increase awareness, engagement, fund-raising success, and brand recognition.
- Create compelling bilingual (English/French) content and graphics for a variety of platforms, including:
- Social media
- Website
- Email marketing and newsletters
- Advertisements
- Press releases
- Promotional materials
- Donor and stewardship communications
- Event and campaign materials
- Maintain and update website content, including landing pages, event information, and key program re-sources to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with brand standards.
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Manage social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with responsibil-ity for content planning and scheduling, graphic creation, community engagement, monitoring mes-sages, comments, and mentions, performance tracking and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, clicks, shares, and audience growth.
- Coordinate the production of marketing collateral and branded materials in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Assist in the promotion of programs, services, events, fundraising campaigns, awareness initiatives, and advocacy activities.
- Co-lead one of ASNB's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's volunteer organizing committees.
- Collaborate with staff across departments to gather impact stories, client experiences, program out-comes, and organizational updates for external communications.
- Support media relations activities through the development of press releases, media materials, media lists, and coverage tracking.
- Monitor emerging issues, trends, and reputational risks that may affect communications activities and recommend appropriate responses.
- Support internal communications initiatives that promote organizational alignment, information sharing, and employee engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all communications and marketing activities.
Administration and Professional Development
- Assist with reporting, data entry, administrative tasks, and other duties that contribute to organizational success.
- Support donor stewardship and fund development activities through the identification of potential do-nors, volunteers, community partners, and corporate supporters.
- Participate in provincial and national initiatives as required, including collaboration with Federation part-ners and national working groups.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and team members to ensure person-centred approaches are reflected throughout organizational activities.
- Foster a culture of philanthropy by supporting awareness, engagement, and fundraising efforts across the organization.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in marketing, communications, and nonprofit engagement.
- Travel throughout New Brunswick as required.
Qualifications
- Must be fully bilingual in English and French.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum one years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working within the nonprofit, healthcare, community service, or charitable sector is consid-ered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Strong storytelling abilities with experience creating content that engages diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt messaging, tone, and content for different communication channels and audiences.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
- Proficiency with Canva or similar graphic design platforms and basic video editing software.
- Experience using marketing and communications tools, including: Meta Business Suite, Mailerlite or sim-ilar email marketing platforms, website content management systems such as Drupal, analytics and re-porting tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.

- Valid New Brunswick driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the province.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events, campaigns, and organizational ac-tivities.
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
