CPA Atlantic School is mandated to deliver the nationally developed CPA Certification Program in both official languages for Atlantic Canada and Bermuda by providing a professional, post-baccalaureate, cooperative educational experience.

Position Summary

A full-time (12-month term) position, the Operations Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the Program Delivery Team at CPA Atlantic School of Business at a time of transition. This position will provide comprehensive administrative support in the following areas: registration, admissions, examinations, program management, program planning, student advising and committee work.

With strong administrative capabilities and a genuine interest in delivering a highly satisfying student experience, the Operations Associate will contribute to the overall success of CPA Atlantic School, its partners, students and candidates. The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, particularly during busy cycles leading up to exams and the start of each semester. Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance are essential for success in this position.

· Document Management

o Ensure the timely compilation of documents required for admission and registration

· Admissions

o Email support

o Daily review of enrolment applications

o Assist with basic assessments (as directed by the Assistant Registrar-Admissions

o Conduct student information system testing as directed by the Assistant Registrar - Admissions

Program Management

o Provide outreach and advising to candidates who are not currently registered, but who are eligible to register

o Review transfer credits and qualifying courses

o Ensure post-secondary institutions comply with transfer credit annual update processes

o Develop a new Excel form for transfer credit assessments

o Assist with planning for in-person workshops for the new program (venues etc.)

o Review, download and compile copies of relevant documents.

o Assist with the drafting of new contracts for external contractors (Coaches, Advisors etc.) for the new program

Program Planning

o PCC transcripts - Clean up and production

o Assist with the delivery of Private Career College employment surveys

o Assist with the coordination of facilitator training coordination

o Assist with Private Career College contract amendments

o Provide administrative support for the PCC Program Amendment application process

Registration

o Provide support relating to academic transcripts (document management) as directed by the Registration Coordinator

Examinations

o Provide invigilation support as directed by the Manager of Examinations

Other

o Provide committee support for the Director, Program Delivery and Registrar

o Provide program transition advice by way of email support

Key Competencies Required for Selection

· Excellent customer service orientation, supporting cultural diversity, ability to communicate effectively with a broad group of students and candidates from diverse backgrounds

· Exceptional organizational capabilities, able to coordinate numerous requirements simultaneously

· Experience with technology such as learning-management systems or student-registration systems would be an asset

· High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small-team environment

· A team player, hands-on, deadline driven and willing and able to "roll up the sleeves" to get things done

· Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized, ensuring quality and consistent output, ensuring accurate information for internal and external stakeholders
