Dr. Paula Keating and Dr. Evan Slaney's patient centered family practice is seeking two (2) Nurse Practitioners to join their growing team!

The opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to an assigned panel of patients while also supporting same-day access appointments. You will play a key role in delivering accessible, coordinated care within a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending follow-up care for chronic diseases and mental health, as required.
- Support shared participation in urgent care services.
- Participate in screening and vaccination programs.
- Educate, counsel, and empower patients regarding preventive healthcare, health initiatives, and disease management strategies.
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, encounter documentation, and clinical data using EMR software in accordance with regulatory and privacy standards.
- Respond to patient inquiries in a professional, respectful, and timely manner.
- Review, process, and manage incoming electronic communications, including faxes and test results.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Remain current with clinical best practices, emerging medical research, and regulatory requirements to maintain high standards of care.
- Perform other related clinical, administrative, and special projects as required to support clinic operations.
Experience/Education:
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed a bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Hold a master's degree in practical nursing.
- Successfully completed the Canadian Nurse Practitioner Examination (CNPE).
- Be currently registered and in good standing with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB).
Qualifications:
- Advanced clinical knowledge with strong critical thinking skills.
- A high level of professionalism, including strict adherence to confidentiality and patient advocacy standards.
- Self-motivation with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with computers, including internet use, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and other relevant software applications.
- A commitment to fostering a culture of problem-solving, collaboration, and excellence.
- Strong documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Fluency in both English and French is considered an asset , but not a requirement.
Working Conditions & Location:
- The Nurse Practitioner's weekly hours are flexible, with the option of part-time or full-time hours based on the successful candidate's preference. The successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of autonomy in determining their schedule, with the addition of working remotely on certain days of the week.
- The clinic operates Monday through Friday and remains closed on weekends and statutory holidays.

Compensation:
Hourly rate within a range of $63.31- $71.24, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be discussed and confirmed with the successful candidate.
