New Brunswick Institute of Health Research (NBIHR)
The NBIHR is seeking a Director of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for its activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, optimization, and growth of the Institute by ensuring the effective management of operations, resources, and partnerships.
Qualifications
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in business administration (operations management) with relevant management experience.
- A background or training in science is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the leadership team in developing performance objectives and long-term operational plans.
- Optimize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and collaboration across teams.
- Establish strategic objectives aimed at operational excellence and revenue diversification.
- Work with scientists and platform managers in the development of budgets.
- Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements.
- Ensure shared supervision and co-management of physical resources.
- Negotiate contracts, operational agreements, and partnership arrangements.
- Maintain relationships with external collaborators and develop new partnerships.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Salary will be commensurate based on experience, with a minimum annual salary of $92,217 plus benefits
