As Digital Marketing Specialist at Galaxia you will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across digital channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across social media, content production, and multimedia editing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Channel Management
Manage company presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, FB, etc.)
Develop and execute channel-specific content strategies aligned with brand goals
Plan and maintain content calendars across all platforms
Monitor performance metrics and optimize accordingly
2. Content Creation & Campaign Execution
Create high-quality written content
Develop concepts tied to product launches, partnerships, and events
Ensure all messaging aligns with brand positioning and strategic objectives
Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to translate complex topics into accessible content
3. Video & Photography Production
Plan, shoot, and produce visual content including:
Short-form video (social media reels, posts)
Event coverage
Brand storytelling content
Capture high-quality photography for digital channels and campaigns
Maintain asset libraries for ongoing use
4. Editing & Post-Production
Edit video and photo content for multiple platforms using tools such as:
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom)
Canva (social-ready visuals, templates, quick-turn assets)
Format content for platform-specific requirements (aspect ratios, duration, captions)
Maintain consistent visual identity across all outputs
Optimize content for performance
5. Website & Digital Asset Management
Update and maintain website content
Optimize pages for SEO and performance
Upload and manage multimedia content
Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
6. Analytics & Performance Optimization
Track and analyze performance across channels (social media, website, campaigns)
Generate regular reporting with insights and actionable recommendations
Use analytics tools to provide insights
Experience & Qualifications
3-5 years in digital marketing, social media, or content production
Proven portfolio of social, video, and campaign work
Experience managing brand accounts and growing audience engagement
Familiarity with B2B, tech, or aerospace/defence sectors (strong asset for Galaxia)
