Creating a Sense of Home: We are home to 108 residents. At Windsor Elms Village there are three distinct neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood has four houses of nine residents. With such a diverse group of residents, you will find each house has its own character. At WEV, we strive to create flexibility that mirrors life in the communities and homes our residents have known.

Food Service Worker : Dishwashers, Café workers , Cook's Helpers

About the Role

These roles are responsible for various tasks and duties depending on the role. Requirements of the role also vary depending on Strengths of the successful applicant must include being a team player with a positive attitude who adheres to food safety and infection control standards.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Up to date Criminal Record/ Vulnerable Sector check completed

• Food Handler's certification required (current or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire)

· Strictly adheres to infection control and food safety standards

· Foodservice experience an asset

· Proven work ethic

· Motivated and self-directed

· Working knowledge of various diets and textures is an asset

· Friendly, professional and demonstrates skills in customer service

· Demonstrates an interest in improving knowledge by attending available educational opportunities

· Organized and able to multi-task

· Excellent attendance record

· Displays a positive attitude and behavior

· Knowledge of therapeutic diets and textures an asset

· Excellent communication skills

· Proven strong initiative

· Reliable and dependable

· Understand and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities
