H2S Alive Instructor

RelyOn Nutec Canada is an ISO registered service-based company focused on exceeding our client's requirements, on time the first time. We provide safety and survival training to the onshore, offshore Oil & Gas industry, industrial, maritime sectors, civilian and military aviation.

We are accepting applications for a H2S Alive Instructor at our Mount Pearl, NL Training Center. We are looking for individuals who are able to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; will effectively integrate into a team; and are respectful and professional with co-workers, management, and clients.

• Instruct practical & theoretical components of assigned training programs
• Assess delegates against outlined criteria and learning objectives of industry standards
• Prepare & cleanup classroom for theory sessions
• Ensure practical training environments are properly prepared and safe for use
• Maintain training procedures & update records

Essential Qualifications

• Current Energy Safety Canada Instructor Certificate; or
• Qualifying letter from Energy Safety Canada showing acceptance to the H2S Alive Instructor program; or
• Three (3) years' experience working in an active sour gas environment in the last ten (10) years

Asset Qualifications

• Current H2S Alive certificate
• Experienced public speaker or instructor
• Flexibility to cater to clients request which can result in evening or weekend course delivery
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer experience (MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
