Job Overview

The Main Supply Clerk is accountable for receiving and dispatching incoming/outgoing Canadian and Foreign currency cash orders and shipments. This position ensures productivity standards are achieved and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded by following well-defined procedures and guidelines and escalating issues as appropriate.

What You'll Be Doing
1. Demonstrate accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing cash orders and shipments by receiving, sorting, balancing and processing adjustments of transactions as required utilizing various systems and equipment within the department.
  • Assist in meeting all quality and timeliness standards of INTRIA's Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure error targets are not exceeded
  • Achieve productivity targets

    2. Adherence to all risk and governance standards by completing all required documentation and ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain an accuracy rate within INTRIA standard
  • Contribute to the reduction of privacy incidents
  • Escalate issues as required
  • Ensure that work moves to appropriate areas for further processing
  • Ensure security measures are in place and consistently applied using well-defined standards, procedures and guidelines

    3. Participate as a contributing team member in the department and assist in clerical duties such as filing, faxing, photocopying, ordering stationery and dispatch supplies to ensure department efficiency
  • Demonstrate CIBC's values of trust, teamwork and accountability
  • Contribute to Action Plan development aimed at improving employee satisfaction

    4. (If Learning Associate) Provide training to new employees using Learning Associate Program methodology and tools
  • Assist in training of new employees on procedures and guidelines to ensure transfer of knowledge

    What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a branch banking environment or an items processing environment
  • Knowledge of internal CIBC database systems and applications
  • Ability to use general office equipment (e.g. adding machines, fax, photocopier, scanner, printer)
  • Basic knowledge of PC skills and a Windows environment with the ability to toggle between programs
  • Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) sufficiently to express an idea or thought
  • Organizational skills sufficient to prioritize routine daily workload
