Reporting to the Vice-President, Academic Development, this critical and senior leadership role includes providing a quality learning environment, educational and instructional leadership, input into program development and review, and directing the effective delivery of educational programs and services. The Regional Director is accountable for supporting NBCC’s vision in achieving strategic commitments, by focusing on academic quality and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that the Woodstock campus continues to play a vital role in community development and prosperity.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall effective management and administration of the Campus. Specific duties will include staff and resource management, operational planning and performance measurement, strategic enrolment management, and ensuring a quality learning environment for both staff and students. Specific duties will also include operational responsibility for the delivery of educational programs and services within a departmental area, managing budgets, acting in consultation and delivery of contract training, and consulting with industry, academic and community partners, as well as other related duties.

The successful incumbent will be a reliable and collaborative team player, as well as a relationship builder who is results oriented and committed to the success of NBCC. Success will include the ability to engage NBCC students and staff to realize their full potential, and to demonstrate community leadership in alignment with NBCCs strategic Vision, Purpose and Values.

Required qualifications for this opportunity include a Master’s Degree in education, business administration or a related field and a minimum of six (6) years of recent and progressively responsible related management experience; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in education, business administration or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of recent and progressively responsible related management experience. Related progressive work experience must include the management, administration and supervision of programs, program delivery and services, ideally within a secondary or post-secondary education environment; as well as management of human, physical, and financial resources. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

NBCC offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes a competitive salary for this position ranging from $90,766 to $102,206.
