Opportunity:  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Financial Administrator is responsible for the daily financial transactional activity of the NSHRF.  She/he oversees payroll and employee benefit plans and ensures that mandatory remittances are made.  In addition, the Financial Administrator maintains all files on project funding, oversees all contracts and financial agreements and provides support to the Executive Director in terms of financial management.  This position requires an individual who can operate with a high level of independence and professionalism and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational abilities, will be able to manage competing deadlines and priorities, will display good judgment and will take initiative.  Extensive experience using accounting software is a requirement; experience with Microsoft Dynamic Great Plains software will be considered an asset.  Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, One Note, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is essential.  Enrollment in a professional accounting program is preferable, but not a requirement.

Experience:  The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Compensation:   Compensation for this position is in the range of $53,399 – $61,904, depending on experience.
