Job Title: Heavy Duty Shop Technician
Rate of Pay: $21.00/hour
Available Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 4:30pm)
Location: St. Catharines, Dunkirk Rd. and Welland Ave.

We are hiring a Shop Technician/Heavy Duty Parts Installer in St. Catharines! This facility manufactures large, high-quality trucks and trucking equipment. Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in a similar automotive technician position and knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems. You must be able to lift 50lbs throughout the shift and assist with other tasks as needed.

Job Duties:
• Installation of truck components (e.g., weight calibration, pneumatic and electrical systems)
• Prepare parts for installation
• Check equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Work according to safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain workspaces
• Participate in department meetings
• Lifting up to 50lbs and completing general labour tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:• 1-2 years of automotive technician experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
• Welding experience (preferred but not required)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Safety oriented
• Willing to provide criminal record check
