Englobe is looking for top talent to join our Team of Professionals in our fast-paced rewarding environment. We are growing again and currently have the need for an Intermediate/Senior Civil Designer to work out of the Fredericton, New Brunswick or Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office.

Your Contribution

  • Prepare and review well written technical reports including but not limited to feasibility studies;
  • Concept design, and detailed design reports;
  • Prepare formal professional service proposals;
  • Understand and summarize defined project scope and address required changes;
  • Prepare contract documents and construction drawings;
  • Attend and manage tender openings;
  • Meet and communicate effectively with your multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals.
  • Aid in coordinating sub-consultants' activity on projects.
  • Execute projects in accordance with company guidelines and standards;
  • Help with mentoring young staff by providing clear and concise directions;
  • Provide feedback and innovative ideas;

Your Profile

  • Degree in Civil engineering from an accredited university; a combination of education and work experience will be considered;
  • Registered or eligible for immediate registration with APEGNB and/or APEGNS;
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil infrastructure design and project management;
  • High level of integrity and work ethic;
  • Attention to detail while multi-tasking;
  • An understanding of product results;
  • Experienced in the supervision of municipal infrastructure projects, including and understanding of survey requirements;
  • Experienced in Construction Management and dealing with third party contractors;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong organizational skills that will allow you to work on numerous projects concurrently, and update reoccurring tasks;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Be motivated by your success and assist in motivating others.
