Job Description
What you can expect in a typical day:
The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) developer implements technical ERP solutions designed to be reliable and meet business requirements. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into well designed and implemented code-based solutions. This role requires excellent communication with stakeholders and our vendors and works with and mentors junior Solution Analysts as they develop their skills and experience.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Work with other team members and stakeholders to identify and fulfil requirements by implementing appropriate technical solutions in our ERP environment.
  • Evaluate and implement technical solutions in response to application or hardware incidents to keep them running reliably.
  • Support the development of project plans, gathering requirements, and creating broad scopes while participate in projects to implement new solutions or enhancements.
  • Mentor other Solutions Analysts and junior team members.
  • Adhere to all service management best practices on an individual level.
  • Create and maintain moderate to complex support documentation as required.
  • Support application patching and upgrades.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and are comfortable working with senior leadership as stakeholders.

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics or related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an application support role with an ERP solution.
  • Experience with ERP software (Key areas: financial, supply chain, projects, and enterprise asset management), preferred.
  • Understanding and experience with PL/SQL, Java, XML, C, and C++.
  • Strong relational database knowledge; Oracle DB is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Application Object Libraries and Linux.
  • Strong knowledge of application implementation and testing best practices and methodologies.
