About the Laboratory:

A modern, digitally driven dental laboratory in North York is seeking an experienced Digital Surgical Guide Designer / Dental Technician to support its growing digital department. The lab is known for high-quality work, efficiency, and strong collaboration across departments, with a continued focus on advanced implant and guided surgery workflows.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician with experience in digital surgical guide design and CoDiagnostiX software. This individual will play a key role in planning and designing surgical guides for implant cases while collaborating closely with the team to ensure accuracy, functionality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design digital surgical guides for implant cases using CoDiagnostiX
  • Review prescriptions, scans, and case information for accuracy and completeness
  • Support treatment planning and guided surgery workflows in collaboration with the team
  • Ensure surgical guides are designed to meet clinical and technical requirements
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding case details, timelines, and adjustments
  • Maintain consistency, precision, and efficiency across all assigned cases
  • Assist with digital workflow improvements as the department continues to grow

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3+ years of dental laboratory experience, ideally with digital workflows
  • Hands-on experience designing surgical guides
  • Proficiency with CoDiagnostiX software is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of implant dentistry, dental anatomy, and guided surgery concepts
  • Ability to read prescriptions and interpret scans accurately
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
