Requirements
Mission:
Provides guidance and coaching to managers in all aspects of HR, identifies people issues, formulates and implements solutions to enhance employee retention and engagement across North America.
What you will be doing:
- Partners with directors to define hiring plans and actively participates in the recruitment process.
- Supports and advises directors and managers on a variety of topics: organizational design, employee relations, people performance and development.
- Drives annual HR cycle deliverables, including performance management, merit review, talent reviews and succession planning.
- Designs and implements corporate initiatives such as management training programs.
- Be pro-active in identifying people issues and trends within the business and work together with your key stakeholders in order to formulate and implement solutions.
- Analyses trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs to enhance employee retention and engagement.
- Ensures all people policies, procedures and processes are aligned with the culture and values.
What you'll need to be successful:
- 3-5 years of HR Manager/Business Partner experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a Software company would be a plus.
- Know of employment / labour laws in Canada and preferably the US.
- Full understanding of all HR disciplines and best practices, including leadership development, compensation practices, performance plans and employee relations.
- Analytical and goal oriented, ability to multi-task.
- A problem-solver to support business initiatives.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
