Who are you?
You are an experienced project controls specialist with 10+ years of experience that includes core project controls disciplines such as scheduling, cost management, risk management, and reporting. You have experience in major infrastructure programs and are seeking the next step in your career and are looking to join a growing and dynamic team in one of Canada's largest capital investment programs.

Job DescriptionAs a Project Controls Specialist, you will be involved in:
- Oversee regular and ad hoc project/program/portfolio reports from concept to completion and uses insight to identify the best format and data interpretation to present and communicate to internal and external stakeholders
- Tracks and analyzes data to identify program and project risks and trends against established KPIs and regularly reports results
- Works with contractors to identify reporting requirements and define a process for integrating their information into client level systems and reporting.
- Provides assurance over the project controls aspects of regular program reporting, working with other consultants and client staff to ensure data and narrative is validated and aligned across the programs.
- To work with the Program Reporting Lead and other functional leads to prepare Executive presentations on a regular basis.
- Prepares high-quality, data-driven reports, dashboards, and presentations aligned with program objectives and reporting standards
- Minimum 10 years of related experience in program controls with a focus on reporting including a minimum of 3 years' experience in a major program environment.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in program controls disciplines including scheduling, cost, risk, change, and scope management.
- Experience managing large and complex projects, including multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creativity in determining the format of reports and translating a range of diverse data/information into meaningful reports that support internal and external requirements.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills and comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting to various audiences.
- Recognized degree in project/program/cost management or similar
- Member of appropriate professional institution. P. Eng., PMP, RICS or other project management related certification considered an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
