Interface Exhibits is looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Markham, Ontario. We're passionate about transforming client ideas into extraordinary exhibit and display experiences, and we're looking for someone who thrives in a high-standards environment. What You'll Do:

  • Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented environment

  • Coordinate trade show logistics, including the preparation of exhibit materials, booking transportation, and ensuring timely delivery to and from venues

  • Oversee daily operations including show scheduling, stock management, logistics, and vendor coordination

  • Collaborate and communicate with clients to ensure successful execution of shows from fabrication to installation

  • Liaise with show services providers on event details and requirements

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization to forecast equipment and material needs

  • Support client visits, installations, and dismantles as needed

  • Assist with graphic production and light design tasks as needed - experience with Adobe Suite is considered an asset

  • Contribute to estimating and invoicing - experience with Intuit QuickBooks is a plus

  • Ensure the office complies with all safety standards and protocols

  • Identify development opportunities and implement process improvements

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time during high-pressure project phases

  • Provide exceptional customer service

  • Use Google Suite (Docs, Gmail, Drive) for documentation, scheduling, and reporting

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years in an operations or project management role, ideally within exhibits, events, or custom fabrication spaces

  • Leadership skills with a passion for team development

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in time sensitive scenarios

  • Proficiency in logistics and resource management

  • Familiarity with project management tools

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment, including physical aspects of tradeshow setups

  • Willingness to travel on rare occasions for client meetings, tradeshows, and industry events

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Valid driver's license (Ontario Class 5 or equivalent)

  • Experience with B2B sales is considered an asset

  • Expertise in marketing, including social media

  • Actively seeks growth and development opportunities

The Details:

  • Position: Full-Time, Permanent

  • Location: Based in Markham, with some travel within Canada

  • Compensation: Compensation based on experience, including extended benefits. Following probationary period, possible commission structure to be included in compensation package based on individual performance and sales.

  • Work Environment: Warehouse, office, and on-site event settings

  • Start Date: Open until filled - application review begins Aug 11, 2025
