Our client is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties while delivering exceptional customer care to tenants. Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Oversee daily operations of assigned commercial properties, including maintenance, contractor supervision, and resolution of operational issues
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure optimal condition and identify preventative maintenance opportunities
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets
- Monitor and control operating expenses; review and approve invoices and payables
- Supervise and support on-site staff and contractors
- Coordinate and manage service contracts, vendor relationships, and tendering processes
- Maintain strong tenant relations through regular communication, timely issue resolution, and lease administration
- Facilitate leasing activities, including coordination with brokers, lease negotiations, renewals, and tenant build-outs
- Oversee rent billing, collections, and receivables; initiate legal proceedings when necessary
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports, including quarterly variance reports and annual business plans
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Provide leadership and guidance to operations teams to meet monthly and quarterly performance targets
- 4-6 years of Commercial Property Management experience
- A RECA license is required
- Proficiency in leasing documentation, budgeting/financial processes, and managing office and/or retail properties
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and commercial leasing principles
- Exceptional communication, conflict resolution and project management skills
- Previous experience with Yardi is considered an asset
