Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The Parts Advisor plays a critical role in supporting both our service department and retail customers by sourcing, recommending, and fulfilling parts orders efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in customers, technicians, and phone inquiries with professionalism
Identify required parts using catalogs, software, and customer information
Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately and promptly
Maintain inventory accuracy and organize parts storage areas
Monitor back-ordered parts and follow up with vendors for timely delivery
Provide updates to service advisors and technicians regarding parts availability
Work closely with the service team to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, warranties, and pricing
Assist with stock counts, shipping/receiving, and restocking shelves as needed
Uphold safety standards and cleanliness within the parts area
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in a Parts Advisor or similar role (preferably in the heavy truck or automotive industry)
Familiarity with truck parts and repair processes is a strong asset
Proficient with inventory systems and parts catalog software (e.g., CDK, Parts Pro)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license (DZ or G-class preferred)
