Summit Search Group has partnered with a client seeking a motivated and personable Showroom Sales Consultant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong eye for design, and thrives in a consultative sales environment. The Opportunity:

As the Showroom Sales Consultant, youll be at the heart of the customer experienceguiding homeowners, interior designers, and contractors through the selection of high-end plumbing fixtures and accessories. Youll help bring home renovation dreams to life while building your own product knowledge and supporting team success.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet customers and build rapport through excellent communication.
  • Identify customer needs and provide product recommendations.
  • Guide customers through the design and selection process, from concept to purchase.
  • Follow up on quotes and ensure client satisfaction after the sale.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, features, and availability.
  • Provide detailed information about materials, styles, colors, and functionality.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions based on customer needs and budget.

Showroom Management

  • Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and stocked with promotional materials.
  • Coordinate product displays and seasonal updates.
  • Manage sample inventory and literature distribution.

Sales Administration

  • Create quotes and orders using the internal system.
  • Communicate with suppliers, designers, and internal departments.
  • Track open projects and keep accurate customer records.
  • Support sales team with special orders and lead tracking.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail or interior design sales.
  • Strong interest in home design, cabinetry, furniture, or related industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
