Role Summary:
The Whistler Sales Coordinator supports the maintenance and growth of Ziptrek Ecotours through strong brand presence, relationship management, and execution of local and regional sales strategies. This role works closely with the Sales Manager to drive sales across key partner channels, including hotels, resellers, referral programs, online travel agents (OTAs), and groups (both direct and indirect), with a focus on building and nurturing meaningful industry partnerships. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills, along with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, seasonal environment. This position is a fixed-term position, providing 12-months parental leave cover. The start date for this position is Tuesday, August 5th.
Compensation Package:
- Salaried position, starting at $54,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience

Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality
- Experience with group and relationship-based sales strongly preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Docs, and online tools like Mailchimp; experience with design platforms such as Canva is an asset
- Experience coordinating sales projects (promotions, print materials, product launches, etc.) is desirable
- Knowledge of the Ziptrek brand and product line is a strong asset
Main Duties:
Sales & Partnerships
- Support the implementation and maintenance of pricing, products, and promotions in the booking system (Zaui)
- Coordinate familiarization trips for partner operators and agents
- Create and deliver product knowledge presentations to local and global partners
- Maintain and grow partner accounts
- Represent Ziptrek at trade shows, networking functions, and promotional events
- Conduct weekly In resort visits to partners - hotels, referral & In resort to ensure Ziptrek stays front of mind and we maintain close working relationships with key re-sellers
- Create a proactive group prospecting plan, which could include off-season promotions
- Manage group booking inquiries from lead to execution, working cross-functionally with Guest Services and Course teams
- Attend group check-ins when required and support training for GS agents coordinating group logistics
- Assist in developing and executing sales programs based on market trends
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to secure and maintain accounts, including setting net and commissionable rates
- Track and fulfill donation requests and annual in-resort partner gifting
- Stay current on industry activity, market trends, and competitor products
- Participate in the development of annual sales forecasts and monthly sales reporting
Systems & Administration
- Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of the Agent Online Booking System (Zaui), including promotion & discount creation and troubleshooting
- Create and supply invoices, and manage follow-up communications for group sales
- Maintain excellent communication across departments
- Use tools such as Google Docs, Trello, Canva, and Mailchimp, systems to manage workflows and communications effectively
Meetings & Reporting ("Rhythms")
- Attend weekly RTB (Run the Business) leadership meetings
- Attend bi-weekly Sales & Marketing meetings, ensuring clear documentation and follow-through on action items
- Participate in 1:1s with the Sales Manager
- Provide monthly reporting on group, accommodation, and partner sales
