Manager, Internal Communications & Change Management - Hybrid Remote
Reports to: Director of People & Culture
Location: Vancouver, BC
Annual Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience
COBS Bread is looking for a full-time Manager, Internal Communications & Change Management for our Downtown Vancouver Support office. This role will be responsible for leading internal communications, driving change management strategies, and supporting digital migration communication and change efforts.
Responsibilities includes:
- Create and distribute engaging content for internal newsletters, internal social media platforms
- Oversee internal communications for Senior Leadership Team through producing articles, videos, scripting, presentation decks, etc.
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead change initiatives across departments, focusing on digital transformation and operational scalability
- Partner with stakeholders to build and execute change plans using proven methodologies
- Collaborate with IT department and other department leads on rollout timelines, training, documentation, and user readiness
- Monitor feedback and usage to adapt messaging and enhance the employee experience during migration
- Design and implement standardized procedures and policies to support growth and operational efficiency
- Facilitate documentation and communication of new processes across teams
- Serve as a liaison between between leadership, departments, and project teams to ensure alignment and buy-in
- Develop and execute communication plans to articulate the vision and benefits of change
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and feedback forums to support employee engagement
- Track KPIs and ROI of change initiatives and digital projects
- Conduct impact assessments and report progress and insights to senior leadership
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- Degree in Communications, Business, or related fields
- 5+ years experience in internal communications and/or change management
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Outlook)
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement abilities with high emotional intelligence
- Communications and/or change management experience preferably within the retail or food service industry
- Experience in franchise environment considered an asset
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
