Project Manager Commercial Construction - Cornad Contracting

Youll be the go-to lead on commercial projects up to $3M+, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and our internal teams to keep everything moving smoothlyfrom kickoff to close-out.

What Youll Do:

• Lead Construction Projects: Own project scope, budget, schedule, and resources from start to finish.
• Keep Everything on Track: Manage change orders, site progress, and quality checks to ensure we hit every milestone.
• Be the Main Point of Contact: Build strong relationships with clients and subs. Keep internal and external communication clear and timelines tight.
• Champion Safety and Compliance: Conduct site inspections and lead the way on contract requirements and health and safety protocols.
• Contribute to Business Growth: Support estimating, bidding, and proposal development to help secure future wins.

What Youll Bring:

• Education: PMP certification (or equivalent hands-on experience) is a strong asset
• Experience: 710 years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Qualifications: Class 5 Alberta drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
• Project Management Skills:
  • Proven ability to lead projects with budgets of $3M+
  • Experience coordinating subs, site crews, and budgets
• People Skills: Confident leadership and communication skillsyou know how to motivate a team and solve problems
• Tech Skills: Comfortable using MS Office and construction project management software
