Business Development Manager – United States Grocery
We're looking for a results-driven Business Development Specialist to support continued expansion across the U.S. grocery market. You'll play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, negotiating high-impact deals, and deepening relationships with retail and distribution partners.
This role is ideal for someone with knowledge of US consumer product dynamics, strong business development acumen, and a passion for building business from the ground up. You'll work with an ambitious, entrepreneurial team that's committed to exceptional product standards and long-term growth.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across U.S. grocery and big box retail accounts.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and drive end-to-end sales cycles.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners.
  • Represent the brand at global trade shows, sales presentations, and key industry events.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing) to ensure customer satisfaction and execution excellence.
  • Keep up with market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
  • Prepare strategic reports and deliver insights to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts and close business deals with favorable terms.
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • 5+ years of international business development or export sales experience, ideally in CPG or food.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to open new markets and grow revenue in competitive sectors.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
  • Data-savvy with a sharp eye for market trends and business potential.
  • Technologically adept with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel up to 50%, primarily in the U.S.
