Barista (Summer Student)

Job Description:

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, serving bakery products, providing excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and organized café.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages according to café standards.
• Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately.
• Recommend beverages and bakery items to customers.
• Package and serve breads, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and other bakery products.
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines, counters, display cases, and seating areas.
• Restock ingredients, cups, napkins, and bakery products as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Handle customer questions and resolve minor complaints professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and cleaning tasks.
• Work collaboratively with bakers, kitchen staff, and other team members.
