Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead multiple small capital projects as well as major projects up to $200MM TIC, from proposal development through commissioning. You will engage with clients to define bespoke execution strategies, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver high-impact projects with certainty.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership
- Lead high-performing project teams across various locations.
- Establish project plans, objectives, risk frameworks, and deliverables
- Deliver projects on Budget and Schedule
2. Technical Expertise
- Develop detailed scope, cost, and schedule baselines during bid phases.
- Apply lean/agile methodologies where applicable to accelerate project delivery.
- Ensure rigorous quality, risk, and change control practices throughout execution.
3. Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency, professionalism, and responsiveness.
- Articulate execution strategies, project progress, and key decisions through presentations and regular updates.
- Effectively manage project changes with diplomacy and clarity.
5. Compliance and Standards
- Ensure compliance with engineering codes, health and safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Organize phase reviews and integrate lessons learned into project workflows.
6. Strategic Contributions
- Support business development through proposal preparation, effort estimation, and showcasing Sacré-Davey's value proposition.
- Continuously improve project management practices by contributing lessons learned.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Demonstrate excellence in client management, project delivery, and team leadership.
- Exhibit adaptability, strategic thinking, and a focus on delivering results with certainty.
- Understand the nuances of technology scale-up and clean energy project implementation.
- Bring proven experience in heavy industry, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and requirements.
- Deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Possess a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ), fostering effective collaboration and leadership in dynamic environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of project delivery experience, ideally in the energy, renewable fuels, or hydrogen sectors.
- Proven success in delivering both large capital projects and smaller brownfield upgrade initiatives.
- Strong background in proposal development, cost estimation, scheduling (MS Project), and execution planning.
- Proficient in project controls, with experience analyzing status reports and interpreting earned value and performance indices.
- Solid commercial acumen in contract management, budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and change management.
- Available to travel as required.
Additional Assets
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Site or construction experience.
