Transformation of the Disability Support Program at the Department of Community Services offers an exciting opportunity for the new CEO to lead Riverview in the development of community-based options, independent living supports and social enterprises.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the affairs of the Corporation in accordance with legislation, regulations and the Bylaws and Policies adopted by the Board. This includes developing and implementing strategies to advance the Board’s strategic plan, ensuring the appropriate financial management of the organization, and preparing an annual operating plan, setting out goals and objectives for the upcoming fiscal year.
As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of five years’ experience in a unionized residential care environment at a senior administrative level and have proven success in public policy, administration, human resources and financial management. You also have demonstrated experience in using sound judgement and discretion in dealing with confidential matters; flexibility in attending meetings, both inside and away from the facility; and building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders. A Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration or Business Administration is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and will range between $85,594 - $100,699.
