Library Technician at Nova Institution
November 2017 to March 2019 (Part-time, TERM)

NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the part-time, term position of Library Technician at Nova Institution. Reporting to the Business Development Manager at the Moncton campus, you are responsible for selecting, acquiring, cataloguing, classifying, circulating, and maintaining library materials in an automated environment.
This successful candidate will work three (3) evenings a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and Saturday afternoon for a total of 17 hours per week.Hours could be flexible.
Required qualifications for this opportunity include a high school diploma supplemented by a minimum of a one-year post-secondary program in a related field plus a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in an automated library environment. A strong knowledge of MS Office and excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are required for this position. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in an Institutional setting.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
