Supply Teachers at Nova Institution

NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individuals for the positions of Supply Teachers at Nova Institution. Reporting to the Business Development Manager at the Moncton campus, you are responsible for teaching middle school and high school curricula which includes planning and preparing instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students, as well as other related duties, on an as needed basis, when other teachers are out of the office
The successful candidates will teach Department of Education (NS) Academic Curriculum.The successful incumbent will be willing and able to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practices.
Required qualifications for this opportunity include a Bachelor of Education and a Nova Scotia Teacher’s License plus a minimum of one (1) year of recent and related teaching experience. Applicants must have a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a correctional facility or those who have experience teaching adult learners. Written and spoken competence in English and French is preferred.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
