4-month Term Position in Computing and Information Systems

The Department of Finance, Information Systems, and Management Science in the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University is seeking applications for a full-time, 4-month term appointment commencing January 1, 2018.  The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor or Lecturer level depending on experience and qualifications.

Candidates are expected to hold PhDs, or have ABD status, in Information Systems or a closely related field.  Candidates with a combination of MA or MS degrees in the above-mentioned field, and professional or teaching experience may be considered.  Successful teaching in a university business school environment is also expected.

The successful candidate will be required to teach CISY 2360 (Business Applications Programming) and CISY 6521 (Information Systems and Success).   Candidate must have knowledge in VB.NET programming.   A focus on active learning, student engagement, teaching in a multi-cultural setting, and integrating technologies as part of the learning process is an asset.
