We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate to Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical & Instrumentation team based in either Moncton or Fredericton, NB. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Innovate: Act as Project Manager and Technical Lead on diverse industrial projects, from initial feasibility through to detailed design and implementation;
- Mentor and Inspire: Guide and mentor junior engineers and technologists, fostering an environment that encourages professional development, innovation and growth;
- Design with Precision: Prepare technical reports, design drawings, specifications, tender documents, and costing;
- Deliver Excellence: Provide electrical engineering advice, peer review and support across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth project execution and technical excellence;
- Ensure Safety & Quality: Incorporate safety standards and risk analysis into designs while ensuring projects adhere to electrical codes, standards, and best practices;
- Drive Business Growth: Engage in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client interaction and expanding our electrical services; and
- Provide On-Site Expertise: Conduct site surveys, assess existing infrastructure, and oversee construction activities to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with provincial Engineering Associations.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant electrical engineering experience;
- Experience in electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, instrumentation & controls, grounding, and telecommunications, with in-depth knowledge of Canadian electrical codes;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver quality work on time and within budget;
- Ability to implement innovative and sustainable engineering solutions and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment; and
- Have a valid Driver's License and be willing to travel occasionally.

Additional skills and experience that will make you stand out
- Experience working in a consulting engineering environment specifically in the industrial, water, and/or wastewater fields;
- Design experience with SCADA and PLC-based control systems;
- Proficiency with electrical design and modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD, AGI32, Revit, SKM Power Tools, etc.);
- Power distribution system modeling and analysis including short circuit, protection coordination and arc flash studies; and
- The ability to communicate in both English and French would be an asset.
