In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development of a new digital-first strategy designed to enhance donor engagement and increase financial support.
  • Work in close collaboration with Digital & Sustainer Marketing channel leadership, colleagues, and vendor partners, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current program and its future vision.
  • Translate the vision into a dynamic three-year growth strategy.
  • Identify early wins, strategic shifts, and a framework for continuous refinement-ensuring the program evolves responsively over time.
  • Conduct a structured program review informed by data analysis, external benchmarking, and meaningful engagement of all key stakeholders.
  • Plan and phase initiatives to achieve long-term goals, ensuring effective use of channels and resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation-enhancing both program quality and the donor experience.
  • Support achievement of revenue targets across all channels.
  • Drive innovation through exploring branded program development or new product offerings
  • Explore new audience segments, and champion the adoption of emerging technologies, all in partnership with our Digital & Sustainer Marketing team.

What we are looking for:

  • A college diploma or university degree in business, marketing, philanthropy, nonprofit management, community engagement or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.
  • 10+ years of progressive, relevant experience as an exceptional marketer with proven skill in developing programs and campaigns that have driven results.
  • A professional that thrives when collaborating with others but is also self-motivated.
  • A successful track record with revenue generation, working with cross functional teams, and external partners to hit revenue targets.
  • A strong understanding of fundraising and the entire donor lifecycle/experience.
  • Superior analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and to communicate it to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated track record of providing strategic direction in the development and implementation of targeted marketing campaigns designed to achieve growth objectives, maintaining effective cost ratios.
  • Ability to effectively develop strong cross functional partnerships, evidenced by a track record of teamwork, collegiality and building relationships.
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Commitment to the Principles of the Red Cross Movement.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and experience working with fundraising/relationship databases (CRC uses Blackbaud CRM).
  • An interest in staying current with industry trends and best practices, sharing insights to foster continuous improvement and innovation in fundraising efforts
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on fundraising performance, donor engagement, and revenue outcomes for internal and external audiences
