Title: Senior Manager, Facilities Management - Real Estate and Facilities

In this role, you will :
- Set team performance and development objectives, establish workplans, monitor performance, resolve conflict and provide coaching and feedback.
- Contribute to unit operational, budget and workforce planning and support ongoing monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and oversee a three-year capital and operational budget based on historical data and space needs.
- Identify, plan, design and adjust service standards, methods and processes to continuously improve and respond to current and future needs.
- Review and assess construction and renovation plans for effectiveness and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with leadership on facility openings, closures, and consolidations.
- Develop and execute strategic project plans, including schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate office relocations in partnership with internal teams.
- Track performance metrics and provide regular reports on facility operations.
- Conduct scheduled site visits to assess building conditions and monitor projects.
What we are looking for :
- Qualifications include a minimum of 6 years of experience and a university degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration or a related field. May require a graduate diploma/degree in a related field and/or a professional degree, certification, or designation. Requires expertise in a specialized discipline or broad experience across fields, along with an understanding of interconnections between processes and business units to provide effective leadership.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and inspire, motivate and engage teams to achieve program objectives.
- Experience managing multiple sites, large buildings, or complex infrastructure.
- Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability practices.
- Experience in budget management, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Experience overseeing renovations, relocations, or construction projects.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite). Proficiency in Jira Service Management an asset.
- Ability to identify complex, unclear problems, conduct extensive analysis in unfamiliar areas, and develop innovative, collaborative solutions by balancing technical inputs with strategic objectives, using advanced skills and independent judgment to predict outcomes, with escalation for alignment with business unit goals.
- Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.
