OMISTA is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Team!

THE POSITION

We are looking for a welcoming and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for our members, you will handle financial transactions and provide exceptional service while promoting our products and services. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet members and provide professional, courteous service.
  • Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Educate members about credit union products and services, identifying opportunities to meet their financial needs.
  • Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues with a focus on delivering excellent service.
  • Assist members with account updates, changes, maintenance, and other services as needed.
  • Uphold security and confidentiality standards by following all credit union policies and procedures.
  • Participate in branch sales and service initiatives, including cross-selling products and services to meet individual and branch goals.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service required.
  • Previous experience in banking or cash handling preferred but not required.
