About the role
This position reports to the International Information Technology (IT) Services (IITS) Global Operations Manager and operates under the general direction of the 1LMX International Operations Project Management Office (PMO). The individual contributes to the successful operation of the 1LMX International Operations Team. A key element of this role is closely partnering with the 1LMX non-core applications team to ensure international deployment requirements are considered and monitoring of applications across the international landscape that will be retired/replaced/retained under 1LMX.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical resource with broad knowledge of business applications and technical IT concepts, as well excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They need to be capable of applying their understanding and experience of technical principles to develop solutions to a wide range of difficult problems under only general direction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage regular communication rhythms with key BA stakeholders across international
  • Close coordination with the 1LMX non-core applications team
  • Ownership of the international non-core applications list to ensure applications are appropriately dispositioned as retain/retire/replace based on 1LMX design decisions
  • Coordinating with 1LMX product owners to ensure international deployment costs are reflected in overall implementation plans
  • Creation of international retire/replace high level plans for international non-core applications and communication back to key stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to support international activities that occur outside conventional local working hours and to occasionally travel internationally, if required.

Additional skills desired for the role
  • Experience as a team lead or project manager, deploying applications to customers
  • Experience of working in an international environment that crosses multiple time zones, languages, and cultures
  • Experience working within an agile programme environment
  • Experience generating project plans, budgets and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience with SAP ERP and other SAP partner products
  • Systems engineering knowledge and experience.
