What You Can Expect in Your Work Term:
  • We tailor your work experience to your skills and abilities. If you choose to work on one specific project and hone your skills in a particular area, we can make that happen. If you prefer broader project exposure across a variety of client projects, we can make that happen too.
  • Supported by your peers, you have exposure to a wide variety of Government, Military, Commercial, Oil and Gas and Industrial based project work. You can expect as a co-op student/intern to gain valuable work experience and broad project exposure by:
  • Spending majority of your time working on Naval Projects (ie: Arctic Offshore Patrol Vessel, Canadian Surface Combatant). This could include a variety of analyses and calculations. You will learn some of the many military/commercial specifications related to maintenance planning, logistic support analysis, availability, reliability, maintainability (AR&M), Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), spares modeling and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modeling .
  • You will support our Program Managers with customer engagement, preparing presentations and formal reports.
  • You will also get to experience what contractual commitments are like, along with customer specifications, engineering data, design changes, and other data to plan and develop ILS activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.

Skill, Capabilities, and Experience:
  • Education Required: Enrollment in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program
  • Years of Experience Required: 0 - 2 years
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance
