NACE Inspector, Level 3 - 2023 Turnaround

Our Asset Integrity Management Team in Fort McMurray is now looking for two Level 3 NACE Inspectors to support the upcoming Spring TA with our Client. One of the roles has an anticpated mobilization for pre-outage support on April 17th on a 4/3 schedule, and will then transtion to a 6/1 schedule on May 12th - June 10th, with the other inspector required for May 12th to June 10th.

• Executing inspections as per the defined scope of work, specifications, client procedures, and applicable codes
• Verifying the qualification of painters/blasters perfoming work through review of qualifications held and surveillance of work
• Verifying compliance with established ITP's and signing off on all stages and coating reports
• Perfoming final coating inspections and verifying DFT
• Preparing and maintaining all inspection records and procedures in accordance with the client's inspection program
• Raising identified deficiencies requiring additional inspection or repair within the turnaround window immediately
• Complying with all client and regulatory codes, standards, and procedures in the execution of work
• Adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with HSSE policies and industry standards

• Significant experience as a Coatings Inspector in Refinery, Upgrader, Utilities or Bitumen Production Unit with an in-depth knowledge of requirements for In-Service Piping and Equipment, or an equivalent combination of certification and experience.
• Required Certifications: NACE Level 3
• Asset Certifications: API 510, API 653, ABSA Inservice Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector (IBPV) , ABSA Inservice Pressure Vessel Inspector (IPV) Pressure, Equipment Safety Legislation(PESL) certification, CWB II
• Current certifications, or be willing to complete at own expense, for all mandatory safety training and meet qualifications required for site access including Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
