Our division is currently seeking an enthusiastic human resources professional located in Saint John, N.B to work as part of our Divisional Human Resources Team.
Reporting to the Director of HR Governance, This position will act as the power user for the Human Capital Management System as well as provide human resources support to the HR team.
Responsibilities:
• Process employee lifecycle transactions, individually and in batch format
• HR data management; audit and ensure data integrity of employee records across the division including training, benefits, education, attendance, onboarding tasks, performance management, manage discrepancy reporting, talent review documents, (foreign worker / work permit reporting) etc.
• Create and manage training offerings in accordance with the divisional training plans
• Lead HR analytics and reporting for the division including metrics and scorecards, dashboard management and development and drive the adoption and use of HR technology (HRIS, employee engagement, recognition, learning platforms, etc.)
• Coordinate administration and reporting of recognition and service awards, wellness reimbursements, engagement surveys and other HR activities
• Participate in divisional and corporate talent initiatives as required such as job fairs, community events & continuous improvement projects
• Coordinate and moderate HR team meetings
Qualifications:
• University degree preferred or successful completion of an Office Management, Business Technology or Human Resources program
• Self-starter with sense of urgency, strong analytical skills & curiosity for data
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to use time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and previous Microsoft Office experience
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, multi deadline, team-oriented environment
• Working knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) is preferred but familiarity with HRIS systems is required
• Experience with HR technologies will be considered an asset
